The road is long and touching, but this is the first step for the Israeli Radio Amateur Group for Digital Communication in the national data communication system. 3 stations are currently connected to the network. 4Z5RP in Hadera, plus 4X1IL and 4X1IL-1 in Kfar Yona.

This is an example of a backbone communication line between Kfar Yona and Hadera. Operating on 2.397 GHz (Channel -2) in a band that is exclusive to radio amateurs, with full power and an unlimited antenna gain compared with the ISM band of 2.4 GHz range. The bandwidth allocated for the backbone is 10 MHz, for communication between the nodes and the endpoints we will use a bandwidth of 5 MHz. The device with the -1 suffix is the UbiquiTi Nano Station Loco that allows to call from the house up to the roof by wireless. The other two, a Bullet with Lcom 14 dbi antenna in Kfar Yona and a PBE M2 400 with the build in 18 dbi dish in Hadera, require a line of sight between them.

Inside the house, the signal strength is -56, and the outdoor stations which are within 12 kilometers between Kfar Yona and Hadera are -76. The scan table reflects all that is received in the whole band with the same band width only as the is set.

The network status list indicates the composition of the network. On the left side, marked with green is the call sign of the site. In the red square are listed the call signs of the network partners. In addition, there is a measurement of the quality of transmission and reception, and the volume of traffic between the stations. The table below shows the optimal communication data (olsr) between the network stations.
